About the Position:
You will be responsible for the integration and commissioning of data center critical infrastructure telemetry within our Building Management Systems (BMS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) and Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) software. You’ll provide post integration troubleshooting and support to data center operations teams for device alarms and errors.

You will be responsible for the integration and commissioning of data center critical infrastructure telemetry within our Building Management Systems (BMS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) and Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) software. You’ll provide post integration troubleshooting and support to data center operations teams for device alarms and errors.
About the Position:
You will be responsible for the integration of Building Management Systems (BMS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), and additional critical infrastructure system’s data to our Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) platform, Nlyte Energy Optimizer (NEO). You’ll provide post integration troubleshooting and support to data center operations teams for DCIM device errors.
What you do daily:
Utilize your skillset with Modbus, SNMP and BACnet communication protocols to communicate with critical infrastructure in our data centers
Integrate DCIM designated devices (generator, UPS, power meter, BMS, leak detection, environmental sensors, etc.) to the Cologix DCIM platform, Nlyte Energy Optimizer (NEO)
Standardize DCIM point lists to create NEO profiles by equipment make and model
Utilize a bulk device manager (BDM) to import the same points and alarms for several like devices
Create and maintain NEO alarm history and user acknowledgement reports
Create NEO custom dashboards at the request of individual users which capture meaningful, actionable data
Assist in gathering DCIM-relevant device information such as communication protocols, registers, MIB files, etc.
Ensure DCIM Systems are operating as designed to protect the data center, capture power usage, calculate available capacity, and provide meaningful, timely alarms, notifications, and reports to end users.
Prepare and maintain DCIM Systems support documentation, including standard data point and alarm lists per device type
Ensure new devices meet the standard data requirements for integration
Validation and testing of device and alarm data
Coordination with cross functional partners to ensure DCIM data quality
Assign and configure device network settings
Analyze and resolve production issues independently and as a member of a cross functional team
Support data center controls and monitoring applications
Work quickly and closely with fellow DCIM, operations and IT team members
What makes you a good fit: (Qualifications)
Experience with critical monitoring and control systems, and support for critical facilities

Experience with Nlyte Software
Additional DCIM Software and/or MSQL Database Experience a plus
Experience with DCIM, EPMS, BCM and control systems (Automated Logic, Tridium) a plus
Experience and understanding of Modbus, SNMP, BACnet, TCP/IP communication protocols, as well as basic network troubleshooting a plus
Ability to determine and integrate analog and digital datapoints critical to operational insight
Knowledge of critical facility networking, mechanical and electrical system
Technical aptitude with attention to detail and an ability to learn quickly and autonomously
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Ability to work flexible hours with 10% travel to on-site data centers
What you do daily:
Conduct commissioning activities for EPMS/BMS systems in data centers.
Develop, maintain and verify standardized point and alarm lists by equipment type (i.e UPS, Generator, PDU, etc)
Implement telemetry checkouts in commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists for Level 4, and Level 5 systems.
Review and evaluate design documents, submittals, and equipment specifications.
Conduct site inspections, functional performance tests, and system verifications.
Witness testing of all equipment during commissioning and validate sequence of operations.
Work closely with project teams, including contractors, engineers, and data center operators, to maintain schedule.
Diagnose and resolve system performance, reliability, and safety issues.
Document results/findings and generate comprehensive commissioning reports for DCIM integrated equipment
Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Attend project meetings and offer technical expertise.

Technical aptitude with attention to detail and an ability to learn quickly and autonomously

Ability to work flexible hours with 25% travel to on-site data centers
