Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Assam, India, for a Collection Manager at Kissht. The Collection Manager will take responsibility for developing and implementing efficient collection strategies, managing a team to achieve recovery targets, and monitoring overdue accounts. The role involves analyzing debtor patterns, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and implementing risk management practices. Collaborating closely with various stakeholders, the Collection Manager will ensure cash flow optimization and foster customer relationships while maintaining a professional and ethical approach.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Credit and Collections Management, Accounts Receivable, and Debt Recovery Procedures
- Leadership, Team Management, and People Skills to motivate and guide a high-performing team
- Effective Negotiation and Conflict Resolution abilities to recover outstanding payments professionally
- Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving capabilities for evaluating debtor behaviors and devising appropriate strategies
- Knowledge of Financial Regulations and Practices related to credit and collections
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills for maintaining professional interactions with customers and stakeholders
- Proficiency in Data Management Tools and Software to analyze collection data and maintain accurate records
- Relevant experience in collections, finance, or similar roles is highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
