Responsibilities:
- Preparing daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and other reports, as well as conducting analyses;
- Developing analytical reports and presentations for senior management;
- Analyzing current business metrics and providing recommendations for improvement;
- Ensuring accurate reporting and performance analysis compared to historical data and the budget;
- Developing and monitoring key recovery performance indicators (Recovery Rate, PTP, Kept PTP, Gross Efficiency, etc.).
What we expect:
- Higher education: degree in mathematics, engineering, or economics;
- At least 3 years of experience as an Analyst in the Collections field;
- Experience in fintech company/ bank, online lending company;
- Strong knowledge of SQL (CTE, window functions, complex queries, stored procedures);
- Experience with Power BI or another BI tool;
- Python is a plus;
- Conversational English at the C1-C2 level.

1. India Collections Market Understanding (must-have)
What we expect:
- Strong understanding of Indian retail lending / digital lending collections lifecycle across buckets (0–30, 31–60, 61–90, NPA).
- Good knowledge of customer repayment behavior, regional collection trends and seasonality in India.
- Understanding of Indian borrower segments, geography-based risk patterns and operational challenges.
2. Vendor / Field / Tele Collections Exposure
This is critical because collections in India is execution-heavy.
- Experience working with tele-calling teams, field agencies and collection vendors.
- Ability to analyze agency performance, funnel leakages, contactability, RPC/PTP trends and capacity utilization.
- Understanding of city / state level collection productivity differences.
3. Regulatory & Compliance Awareness
Important in India due to RBI scrutiny.
- Understanding of Indian collections compliance requirements, RBI digital lending guidelines, complaint monitoring, and customer communication controls.
- Ability to identify risk trends from complaints, call audits, and escalation data.
4. Business Partnering Skills
You don’t just need MIS support.
- Ability to work closely with collections operations, business heads, product, risk, and vendor partners.
- Capability to convert data into actionable strategy for improving recovery, reducing roll rates and optimizing manpower.
5. Local Context / Geography / Language Advantage
- Strong familiarity with Indian geography, regional customer behavior and state-level operational nuances.
Ability to support segmentation and treatment strategies based on local market dynamics.
