Medical Coder

We are Currently looking for a Medical Coder, this opportunity is a permanent WFH position. In the training period it will be work from office. Role & responsibilities Review and accurately code the medical records for diagnoses and procedures Translate medical terminology into a coded form Check charts and records for accuracy and completeness Communicate with medical billing specialists to ensure treatment codes are accurately received Keep abreast of and comply with billing and coding guidelines Resolve or clarify any codes or procedural conflicts by communicating with doctors or healthcare providers Ensure all services and procedures have been coded correctly and have supporting diagnoses Perform coding reviews to ensure all documentation is accurate and precise Preferred candidate profile Certification as a Medical Coder from a recognized program (e.g., CPC, CRC) Previous experience in HCC coding is required. Knowledge of medical terminology and common medical procedures Strong knowledge of health insurance and medical coding guidelines and laws Proficient with coding software and electronic health records (EHR) Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Strong organizational and multitasking skills
