Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Collaborator role based in Delhi, India. The Collaborator will support attorneys in corporate and commercial matters, including legal research, drafting and reviewing agreements, and preparing documentation for transactions such as incorporations, mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. Daily responsibilities include assisting with contract drafting and negotiation support, compiling due diligence materials, and maintaining organized matter files and case records. The role also involves monitoring regulatory and compliance requirements, preparing briefings and internal memos, and coordinating with clients, external counsel, and other stakeholders as required. The Collaborator will work closely with senior team members, participate in client meetings when needed, and contribute to the firm’s knowledge resources and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret statutes, regulations, case law, and corporate documents.
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing corporate and commercial documents, including contracts, board resolutions, and compliance-related documentation.
- Solid understanding of corporate law fundamentals such as business formation, corporate governance, transactions, and basic dispute resolution concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to present information clearly to internal teams and clients.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and time management skills to handle multiple matters and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based law firm environment and maintain professional client service standards.
- Comfort with legal technology tools, document management systems, and standard office software (e.g., MS Office or equivalent).
- Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B. or equivalent); enrollment in or completion of an advanced law degree (LL.M.) is an advantage.
- Prior internship or work experience in corporate law, commercial law, or related practice areas is preferred but not mandatory.
