Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft 365 Collaboration & AI Service Owner to lead the strategy, delivery, and operations of enterprise collaboration platforms. This role ensures Microsoft 365 services and AI capabilities are secure, reliable, and deliver measurable business value. This is a hands-on service ownership role with strong focus on operations, governance, and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage enterprise collaboration platforms including Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and AI-enabled capabilities within the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Define and execute service strategy, roadmap, and operating model aligned with business priorities.
- Drive platform decisions, prioritization, and continuous improvements across collaboration services.
- Balance user experience, security, compliance, and cost efficiency across all services.
- Lead AI enablement and adoption in partnership with security, identity, legal, and data governance teams.
- Establish foundational elements for AI success including content hygiene, access models, and governance frameworks.
- Drive user enablement through training, communication, and adoption strategies.
- Own service health, reliability, and performance across collaboration platforms.
- Define and track KPIs, SLAs, and user experience metrics.
- Partner with support and operations teams to manage incidents, problems, and changes effectively.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement preventive and corrective actions.
- Define and enforce platform configuration standards and governance policies.
- Ensure consistency across tenants, regions, and workloads aligned with enterprise architecture and security principles.
- Maintain clear documentation, standards, and operational runbooks.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience managing Microsoft 365 services in enterprise environments.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
- Strong understanding of how Microsoft 365 services integrate and operate at scale.
- Experience enabling or supporting AI-driven productivity tools within enterprise environments.
- Solid understanding of data access models, permissions, and information architecture.
- Experience working with security, legal, and governance teams for compliant and responsible deployments.
- Strong background in IT service management including incident, problem, and change management.
- Experience defining and tracking SLAs, KPIs, and operational metrics.
- Awareness of compliance, data retention, eDiscovery, and privacy requirements.
- Experience maintaining documentation, runbooks, and service standards.
- Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Ability to manage service ownership boundaries, escalation models, and operational workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications in Microsoft 365, Security, or Modern Workplace.
- Experience supporting global or multi-region environments.
- Proven experience driving adoption, change management, and user enablement initiatives.
