Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Cold Storage Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our temperature-controlled storage facility in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient inventory management, maintain product quality, optimize warehouse operations, and lead the cold storage team.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily cold storage operations for fresh produce.
• Monitor and maintain temperature and humidity levels.
• Ensure proper inventory management and FIFO implementation.
• Oversee receiving, storage, and dispatch activities.
• Supervise, train, and manage warehouse staff and shift schedules.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, Sales, and Warehouse teams.
• Optimize storage utilization while minimizing wastage and product loss.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and operational documentation.
• Analyze operational data to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
• 5–10 years of experience in cold storage, warehouse operations, or the fresh produce/FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and FIFO practices.
• Experience managing temperature-controlled storage facilities.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership, team management, and shift planning skills.
• Good operational planning and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory software, and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Candidate
• Candidates from the North India region who are willing to relocate to Bengaluru will be preferred.
• Immediate joiners or candidates serving up to a 15-day notice period are preferred.
