Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cold Forging Operator located in the Greater Chennai Area. The Cold Forging Operator will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting cold forging machines to produce high-precision components. Daily tasks include setting up and calibrating machines, monitoring production processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and performing routine maintenance. The operator will also inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and collaborate with the quality and production teams to maintain seamless operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining cold forging or forging machinery
- Experience in product quality inspection to ensure precision and adherence to specifications
- Knowledge of machine setup, calibration, and troubleshooting
- Basic understanding of safety protocols in heavy machinery and forging operations
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Prior experience in the automotive components or fasteners manufacturing industry is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams to achieve production goals
