Responsibilities
Responsible for designing and implementing new features and functionality
Establishing and guiding the websites architecture
Ensuring 100 PERCENT uptime of the website. Troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment
Managing all technical aspects of the CMS
Work closely with front-end developers, marketing & design team to implement features
Identify and respond to all website security breaches
Improve the User Experience of the website regularly
Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade the organisations website
Take logical decisions for identifying the right tech stack and cloud resource requirement
Manage a team of developers and take productive decisions
Skills
Experience developing web solutions in WordPress and PHP implementations
The candidate should be aware of the LAMP stack
Ability to architect enterprise WordPress solutions including data, display, and information architecture
Experience creating custom WordPress plugins and themes
Highly proficient in HTML, XHTML, Rest APIs, JSON, XML, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Access, mySQL and JavaScript
Great understanding of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills
Through an understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs
Ability to deploy applications on various cloud servers like AWS, DigitalOcean.
