As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable and efficient backend systems that power our cutting-edge crypto trading platform. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to build robust APIs, optimize database performance, and ensure the seamless functioning of our platform. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and secure backend systems - Implement efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms - Optimize database queries and maintain data integrity - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative features - Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and knowledge sharing - Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends Requirements: - Proficient in backend development using Node.js, Python, or Java - Hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) - Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development - Expertise in developing and scaling distributed systems - Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) - Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication and collaboration skills
