We are looking for a Software Engineer, Backend - Blockchain Platform (Crypto Data Foundations) to join our Blockchain Platform team. This team is responsible for building the data infrastructure that powers Coinbase's cryptocurrency exchange, wallet, and other products. You will work on building scalable, reliable, and high-performance blockchain data processing pipelines that ingest, process, and serve blockchain data to support Coinbase's mission-critical products and services. What you'll be doing: - Design, develop, and operate high-performance, scalable, and reliable blockchain data processing pipelines - Build fault-tolerant, self-healing, and auto-scaling distributed systems to ingest, process, and serve blockchain data - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data schemas, APIs, and data models that meet the needs of various Coinbase products - Optimize for cost, performance, and reliability as the blockchain data volumes continue to grow exponentially - Automate and streamline operational processes to ensure high availability and resilience of the blockchain data infrastructure - Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 support for critical blockchain data processing systems
