About the role

We are looking for an experienced sales executive to implement our offline sales strategy and play a critical role in driving the growth and success of the company's General Trade business. This role requires a customer focused mindset with an understanding of driving sales based on retail feedback. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading on ground sales within the state, managing brand data with the distributor, and communicating company schemes and incentives to the retailers. The candidate will be based out of the distributor location and report to the company office. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead retailer conversion in the distributor geography. 2. Schedule and track retailer calls and market visits to increase sales footprint. Ensure timely follow ups and documentation of all leads. 3. Maintain effective communication with retailers to convey company schemes, deliverables and policies. 4. Work with the company to improve retailer lead generation and conversion based on market nuances. 5. Ensure proper use of company branding material at retailer shops. Convey retailer feedback in a structured manner back to the company. 6. Help company implement DMS with the distributor and ensure regular data sharing between the two parties. 7. Help the distributor go live on retailer app. Complete the SOP required by the company for the same. 8. Ensure timely shipment of orders as well as company deliverables to retailers. 9. Lead, mentor and train a team of sales executives with the distributor. 10. Maintain cordial relationship with the distributor and ensure robust communication between distributor and the company. Qualifications: 1. Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in sales within the geography. 2. Experience in selling apparel/textile products. 3. Bachelor's degree preferred. 4. Comfortable working with data. Experience with Microsoft excel and billing software would be preferred 5. Strong communication skills. 6. Knowledge of customer, and awareness about market context.
