Trainee - IT Services

Cognizant is hiring fresh graduates for the position of Trainee – IT Services. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for candidates who are passionate about technology and eager to kick-start their career in the IT industry. The selected candidates will undergo training and then work on real-time projects in various technologies and domains. Key Responsibilities: - Understand project requirements and assist in developing technical solutions under supervision. - Participate in the design, coding, testing, and deployment of applications using approved standards. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during development and post-deployment. - Collaborate with team members, project leads, and business analysts to ensure timely and quality delivery. - Participate in various training programs to acquire new skills and certifications. - Document work processes and ensure adherence to organizational standards. - Adapt quickly to changing environments, technologies, and processes. - Work effectively in a team and independently when required. - Ensure compliance with Cognizant's policies and client-specific guidelines. Training and Development: - Comprehensive onboarding and technical training will be provided. - Exposure to emerging technologies such as Cloud, Data Analytics, AI, IoT, and more. - Continuous learning environment with access to internal certification programs. - Mentorship and support from experienced professionals. Eligibility Criteria: - Education: Candidates must have completed a 3-year full-time undergraduate degree. Graduation years: 2022, 2023, or 2024. - Eligible Degrees: BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications), B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, Electronics. - Academic Requirements: Minimum 50% aggregate marks in Class 10, Class 12, and Undergraduate (UG). - Citizenship: Open to Indian nationals only. - Work Flexibility: Willingness to work from any Cognizant office location in India and flexibility to work in any shift (24/7 rotation) and on any technology/domain assigned by Cognizant. Preferred Candidate Profile: - Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Basic understanding of programming concepts (e.g., C, C++, Java, Python). - Effective communication skills—both verbal and written. - Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
