Senior Blockchain Developer

As a Senior Blockchain Developer at Cognizant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining blockchain-based solutions for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative blockchain use cases that drive business value. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop blockchain-based applications and platforms using technologies such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, and R3 Corda - Implement smart contracts, consensus mechanisms, and other blockchain components - Integrate blockchain solutions with existing enterprise systems and applications - Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of blockchain-based solutions - Collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and subject matter experts to understand requirements and deliver solutions - Stay up-to-date with the latest blockchain trends, technologies, and best practices Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in blockchain technologies - Proficient in programming languages such as Solidity, Go, Java, or Python - Experience in designing and implementing decentralized applications (dApps) on public or private blockchain platforms - Understanding of blockchain consensus algorithms, smart contracts, and cryptography - Experience in integrating blockchain solutions with traditional enterprise systems - Knowledge of distributed systems, network protocols, and cloud computing - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
