DevOps Engineer (AWS/Azure – Terraform/Kubernetes)

Cognizant is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in cloud platforms, automation, and containerization. You will work on building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, implementing security best practices, and leveraging cutting-edge DevOps tools to deliver high-quality solutions. Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Docker. - Manage and optimize AWS services such as S3, API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, and EKS. - Write and maintain scripts in Groovy, Python, and Shell to automate workflows. - Implement security controls across the CI/CD pipeline, including vulnerability scanning, static code analysis, and dependency management. - Use tools like SonarQube and Software Composition Analysis (SCA) for quality and security checks. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable cloud solutions. Requirements: - Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Docker, Jenkins, GitHub, Groovy, and Python. - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy, Python, and Shell. - Experience with CI/CD pipeline design, automation, and security best practices. - Familiarity with Ansible, SonarQube, and GitHub Actions is a plus. Nice to Have: - Knowledge of Azure cloud services. - Experience with Kubernetes orchestration. - Exposure to multi-cloud environments.
