About the role
Cognizant is searching for a passionate and skilled Cloud Infrastructure Consultant to join our team. As a Cloud Infrastructure Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure solutions for our clients. This includes but is not limited to deploying and configuring cloud services, automating infrastructure provisioning, and ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze client requirements and design cloud infrastructure solutions that meet their needs
- Implement and configure cloud services such as compute, storage, networking, and security
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible
- Monitor and optimize cloud environments to ensure high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure
- Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure design and implementation
- Proficient in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and containerization technologies
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and automation frameworks
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
