About the role
We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js, Express, Redis, and PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of building scalable backend systems, designing APIs, and ensuring high performance and reliability of applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs.
- Work with Node.js and Express to implement server-side logic and integrations.
- Manage and optimize databases using PostgreSQL for high performance.
- Utilize Redis for caching, session management, and real-time data handling.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and other teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Implement security and data protection best practices.
- Debug, optimize, and improve application performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.
- Solid experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, queries, optimization).
- Hands-on experience with Redis for caching and message queues.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration best practices.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with Git/version control systems.
- Problem-solving mindset and strong debugging skills.
