Position Summary: As the Training Manager - Math/Science, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our teacher community by taking the end-to-end ownership of training of our New Mentors and Refresher Training of our Old mentors. You will be responsible for ensuring that our teaching team is composed of highly qualified, motivated, and dedicated professionals committed to our educational mission. Key Responsibilities: Mentor Training: Conduct mentor training for the new onboarded mentors to ensure quality on all fronts(Academics and Operational). Conduct refresher training for the old mentors to keep them updated about the new teaching methodologies and new features introduced over the platform. Create a training module to automate the processes and standardizing the training. Performance Evaluation: Establish and implement a fair and transparent mentor evaluation process. Monitor and assess mentor performance through regular observations and feedback. Identify areas for improvement and create improvement plans as needed.   Mentor Retention and Engagement: Develop strategies to enhance teacher satisfaction and retention. Address teacher concerns and grievances promptly and effectively. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.    Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other departments to align mentor management strategies with organisational goals. Communicate regularly with mentors and function leaders to ensure alignment and transparency. Teacher Management:  Lead, coach, and mentor to foster a positive and productive work environment. Monitor mentor performance, track progress, and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred). Minimum of 5 years of work experience in relevant fields. Strong knowledge of educational practices, teacher certification/management requirements, and professional development. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions. Proven track record of building and maintaining positive relationships with staff and stakeholders. Ability to work in fast-paced environment. Key KPIs: New Mentors Demo Conversion TAT of New Mentors from Onboarding to going Live Churn of New Mentors from Onboarding to going Live Student Refund/Mentor Change(due to Quality) cases for new mentors during the first 3 months from going live Growth Path: Training Manager will grow into the role of Associate Program Manager/Program Manager overlooking the entire KPIs(Growth and Retention) of a particular Business Unit.
