Role Overview
As the Lead Product Manager at CodeRabbit.ai, you'll operate at the intersection of artificial intelligence and developer workflows. Your mission will be to solve complex challenges related to code quality, team productivity, and knowledge sharing. You’ll own the product roadmap for our AI code review platform, collaborating closely with engineering, ML teams, and our developer community.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own the product vision for our AI code platform.
2. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and industry partners.
3. Drive product strategy and roadmap for our AI-powered code review platform, balancing technical feasibility with market needs.
4. Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical requirements, ensuring our AI solutions effectively address real developer pain points.
5. Engage directly with users to gather feedback, conduct user research, and validate product decisions.
6. Analyze product metrics and user behavior to make data-driven decisions about feature development.
7. Partner with ML teams to improve AI models' understanding of code patterns and developer workflows.
8. Define and maintain product documentation, specifications, and release processes.

Qualifications

Required:

1. 5–8 years of total experience, including at least 5 years as a hands-on software engineer.
2. 3+ years of product management experience, specifically in developer tools or platforms.
3. Proven track record of leading and shipping major product initiatives from conception to launch.
4. Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, code review processes, and best practices.
5. Experience with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development tools.
6. Strong technical communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
7. Demonstrated success in shipping impactful products with measurable outcomes.

Preferred:

1. Experience at developer-focused companies (e.g., Postman, Hasura, GitHub).
2. Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their applications in developer tools.
3. Knowledge of static analysis tools, linters, or code quality platforms.
4. Contributions to open-source projects or developer communities.
5. Background in IDE extensions, code analysis tools, or developer productivity solutions.
