- Relevant Experience: 6–7 Years in COBOL Development
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and self-driven COBOL Developer with strong expertise in Micro Focus technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining COBOL-based applications while working independently and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain COBOL applications using Micro Focus tools
- Work independently on assigned modules and deliver within timelines
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams
- Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability of applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and development environments
- Participate in system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives
Mandatory Skills- Strong experience in Micro Focus COBOL
- Hands-on with Micro Focus Enterprise Developer
- Experience in Micro Focus Enterprise Server
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with Windows Scripting
- Knowledge of Job Scheduling tools
