About the role

Coast Construction Group is a trusted general contractor with over 60 years of experience delivering high-quality commercial projects across the U.S. We specialize in a wide range of sectors and offer design-build and bid-build services, supported by skilled teams and flexible self-performing capabilities. Guided by our motto, “Built for Life,” we are committed to lasting quality and strong client partnerships.

We are seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the core accounting functions. This role will own the integrity of our financials, manage cash and payroll operations, and partner closely with the CFO to improve visibility into project performance.

This is not a sit-back-and-review role. You will be directly involved in the day-to-day accounting operations while building structure, improving processes, and supporting a project-driven environment.

We believe the right personality and attitude are essential to our continued growth because we constantly challenge ourselves, and each other, to elevate our potential and deliver exceptional results.

We look for candidates who embody the following values:

  • Service – Leads with humility and asks how can you help our team and partners.
  • Trust – Builds trust through consistency, honesty, and follow through.
  • Accountability – Own your work and outcomes. Follow through on commitments and if you fall short, make it right.
  • Stewardship – Take care of the resources, relationships, and opportunities presented to you. Leave things better than you found them.
  • Impact – Work with purpose pursuing excellence and prioritizing quality over shortcuts. Consider how your work affects others.
  • Problem-Solving Attitude – Approaches challenges with creativity, resourcefulness, and determination.
  • Positive Attitude – Brings energy, professionalism, and optimism to the workplace.

At Coast Construction Group, we believe that great teams are built by great people. When individuals with strong character and shared values come together, technical skills can be developed and extraordinary results follow.
