Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time opportunity to work as a Coach or PT Instructor in a variety of disciplines, including Athletics, Hockey with earmarked ground, Cricket, Swimming (including Women’s Coach), Volleyball, and Physical Training. The role involves organizing and leading training sessions, developing fitness and skill development programs, mentoring students, and fostering teamwork and sportsmanship. Coaches will collaborate with the university’s athletic department and ensure a safe, inclusive, and progressive environment for all participants.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in designing and implementing training programs in Athletics, Hockey, Cricket, Swimming, Volleyball, or Physical Training.
- Excellent leadership and mentorship skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their potential.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a diverse group of students and staff.
- Understanding of sports safety protocols, injury prevention, and first aid practices.
- Experience in managing sports events, student activities, and organizing inter-university competitions is an advantage.
- National-level or relevant certification in coaching within the specific sport or physical training domain.
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or equivalent qualification in a related field is preferred.
