Keiko Consulting is hiring on behalf of its client, a reputed engineering/manufacturing company in Chakan, Pune, Maharashtra.

Job Summary
The CO₂ Welder will be responsible for performing welding operations using CO₂ welding (GMAW) techniques on metal components as per engineering drawings and specifications. The role involves ensuring weld quality, structural integrity and adherence to workplace safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CO₂/GMAW welding on mild steel and other materials as required.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
- Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding and fitting.
- Inspect welds for quality, defects and compliance with required standards.
- Maintain and properly use welding equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and use required PPE at all times.
- Assist with fabrication and assembly work as required.
- Maintain relevant production and welding records.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- ITI / Certification in Welding or relevant trade.
- Hands-on knowledge of the CO₂ (GMAW) welding process.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Good hand-eye coordination and welding precision.
- Understanding of safety procedures in a fabrication/workshop environment.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a workshop environment.
