About the Startup —
An early-stage deep-tech venture is being explored in the laser energy, wireless power, and directed energy domain, inspired by companies like PowerLight and Aetherflux.
One of the next big shifts in spacetech and future energy infrastructure will likely come from how energy is transmitted, relayed, and delivered across long distances.
The work is still at a very early stage right now — mostly research, architecture exploration, first-principles thinking, and figuring things out from scratch.
Looking for a technical co-founder from backgrounds such as:
- Photonics / Laser Systems
- Power Electronics
- Applied Physics
- Embedded Systems / Controls / Autonomy
More than a co-founder, the search is for a friend first — someone equally obsessed with building technology and deep-tech systems from 0.
This could be a great opportunity for someone who:
- Always wanted to start up but never took the leap
- Is looking to build something new after their current venture/job
- Is returning to India and wants to help build meaningful frontier technology here
More than resumes or titles, the search is for someone who genuinely enjoys experimenting, prototyping, solving hard engineering problems, and pushing ambitious ideas into reality.
This is not a traditional “job opening”.
The expectation is to build together from day 0 as equals — setting up labs, getting incubated, building prototypes, raising funds, and slowly turning an ambitious idea into a real company.
There is no salary right now, so ideally enough personal runway should exist for at least a year while building.
This is probably one of the most exciting times for space enthusiasts and deep-tech builders to start working on meaningful frontier technologies.
Previous founder experience exists in mechanical engineering, high-tech aerospace systems, and spacetech — including securing ~USD 2.5M in investment commitments and raising ~USD 600K while building advanced space communication systems.
