ShikshaPal (Founded by IIT, NYU & Ex-Paypal Founding member) We are building an AI-Powered Personalized & Adaptive Learning Platform for K-12 segment designed to transform how students actually learn. Today’s education system still relies heavily on rote memorization, leaving students struggling with true conceptual understanding. Our mission is to change that. Our platform uses AI tutors, adaptive assessments, real-time feedback, and personalized learning loops to help students move from concept understanding → skill mastery. The platform leverages AI tutors powered by an in-house SLM model for higher accuracy, combined with multimodal learning, adaptive assessments, real-time feedback, and personalized learning loops. This enables students to move from concept understanding to true skill mastery in a more engaging, effective, and personalized learning experience.

Role Description:
This is a full-time remote role for a Co-Founder & Chief Growth Officer, as a Co-Founder you will lead complete Go-to-market 0 → 1 strategy, building sales motion from the ground up — driving early traction strategy, building revenue & monetization strategy, user acquisition & growth, own complete success metrics and growth strategy while closing early deals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-ambiguity startup environments and wants to take full ownership of building and scaling the growth engine. You will work closely with the founders to validate product-market fit, meet customers on the ground, close early deals, establish sales processes, and shape the company’s growth trajectory.
What You'll Do:
1. Growth & GTM (0 → 1 → Scale)
- Define and execute GTM across schools
- Market segmentation, ICP definition & launch strategy
- Build scalable outbound and inbound demand generation funnels
- Identify fastest path from MVP to PMF (Product-Market Fit)
- Create repeatable growth loops and acquisition engines
2. Product Marketing & Positioning
- Craft compelling value propositions, branding structure & messaging framework
- Build a strong brand narrative, business model canvas, use case & positioning
- Drive content-led and organic sales-led growth
3. Own Revenue & Monetization Strategy
- Define and validate pricing, business and revenue models.
- Build early pipelines and convert leads into paying customers.
- Experiment with different monetization strategies to identify scalable revenue streams.
4. Lead Generation & Prospecting (0 → 1 strategy)
- Work directly with the market to validate demand and gather real-world insights.
- Visit schools and educational institutions to understand their learning needs and challenges.
- Meet with school leaders, teachers, and administrators to present the platform and build relationships.
- Conduct product demonstrations, collect feedback, and validate product–market fit.
- Identify, research, and qualify potential leads across targeted schools throughout India.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective school partnerships.
- Follow up consistently with prospects to nurture interest, secure meetings and close early deals.
5. Collaboration & Feedback Loops
- Work closely with Founders to align on messaging, buyer personas, and campaign goals.
- Provide market feedback on prospect pain points, objections, and buyer trends.
- Collaborate with the product or growth team to refine value propositions based on prospect conversations.
What We're Looking For:
- 8+ years of proven experience in EdTech startup sales & growth development.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business from IIT's, IIM's or a top-tier business school.
- Strong track record of building, growing and scaling 0-1 GTM sales motion, including designing and executing sales playbooks.
- Proven hands-on expertise in cold outreach, partnership development, distributor networks, field sales, and robust pipeline generation.
- Deep understanding of Edtech sectors (preferred).
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a “hustle-first, excuses-never” approach – thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments.
- Demonstrated ability to hit aggressive pipeline & revenue targets while experimenting and iterating fast.
