About Us
Protector IQ is building India's first integrated insurance distribution company — one that owns the customer relationship end to end, from product intelligence to the last mile. We serve Insurance Distributors and MSMEs, a segment that represents 19.2 million businesses in India and is critically underinsured.
We operate through exclusively employed agents (not gig sellers), powered by a proprietary multilingual agent enablement platform with 9 live modules.
We are DPIIT & MSME recognised, selected into the PayU Infinity 3.0 accelerator. Our pre-seed funding round is currently underway.
The Role
We are looking for a Co-Founder to own all things distribution and sales. The Founder brings 25 years of insurance product design and underwriting intelligence. You bring the go-to-market engine.
This is a founding role — not a CXO hire. You will have equity ownership, a seat at the strategy table, and full accountability for revenue.
What You Will Own
You will build and lead the retail distribution network and own the recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of the agent workforce in partnership with our internal enablement platform.
You will drive direct corporate sales through a digital channel — targeting MSMEs and corporate groups.
You will own all B2B institutional partnerships — broking tie-ups, co-distribution agreements, and ecosystem integrations. You will also lead the commercial rollout of our experiential insurance model.
What We Are Looking For
You have at least 10 years of experience in insurance or BFSI distribution, with direct exposure to field sales, agency management, or group insurance. You have recruited and led distributed sales teams. You have closed group insurance deals with corporate or MSME clients. You understand the realities of selling financial products to small business owners, not just consumers.
You are commercially sharp and operationally hands-on. You are not looking to manage a mature machine — you want to build one. You are comfortable with the ambiguity of an early-stage company and motivated by the equity upside that comes with it.
Familiarity with inclusive finance ecosystem is a strong advantage. Multilingual ability (English, Hindi, Gujarati) is preferred.
