Company Description eChallan.app is a technology-driven platform focused on simplifying traffic challan management across India. It serves individual vehicle owners, fleet operators, logistics companies, and cab aggregators by enabling them to fetch, track, and pay challans from multiple state enforcement portals like Parivahan and regional transport authorities. By integrating directly with government databases, the platform provides real-time access to traffic violation information and ensures faster, more transparent, and efficient payments. eChallan.app also offers a partner bidding system for court challans, helping users resolve legal disputes related to fines in a cost-effective way. The company is building a scalable ecosystem at the intersection of mobility, compliance, and digital payments.
Role Description As a Co-Founder at eChallan, you will drive overall strategy, product vision, and execution for a fast-growing regtech platform in India. This full-time, on-site role involves working closely with other founders to validate market opportunities, define the product roadmap, and oversee end-to-end implementation with internal teams and external partners. On a day-to-day basis, you will coordinate with engineering and design to deliver a reliable platform, engage with government and enterprise stakeholders, and oversee key metrics such as user growth, retention, and transaction volume. You will actively participate in fundraising, investor relations, and financial planning, while also building and leading a high-performing, mission-aligned team. The role requires hands-on involvement in operations, compliance, marketing, and customer success, with a strong focus on solving real-world problems for users across India.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in founding, co-founding, or leading early-stage startups, preferably in fintech, mobility, SaaS, or regtech.
- Strong product and business strategy skills, including market research, product-market fit validation, and roadmap prioritization.
- Ability to work closely with technical teams; familiarity with scalable web/mobile platforms, APIs, and integrations with third-party or government systems.
- Demonstrated strengths in operations, including process design, execution oversight, and building scalable systems and workflows.
- Experience in business development, partnership management, or enterprise sales, ideally with government agencies, logistics providers, or large fleets.
- Comfort with financial modeling, budgeting, and investor-facing responsibilities such as fundraising pitches and reporting.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent the company externally.
- Track record of hiring, mentoring, and leading diverse, cross-functional teams in a high-growth environment.
- Understanding of the Indian regulatory landscape related to transport, traffic enforcement, or digital payments is a strong advantage.
