Job Title: CNC/VMC Operator cum Setter (Machining & Grinding)
Location: Hosur
Experience: 3–5 Years
Qualification: Diploma (DME / DPE)
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled CNC/VMC Operator cum Setter with hands-on experience in machining and grinding operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for machine setup, process optimization, and ensuring quality production in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in CNC/VMC (Fanuc/Siemens)
- Strong knowledge of machining & grinding processes
- Experience in tooling, probing & measurement cycles
- Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen & shop floor practices
Key Responsibilities
- Perform setting & operation of CNC/VMC machines
- Handle surface & cylindrical grinding operations
- Do tool selection, fixture setup & dimensional corrections
- Ensure quality, safety, and 5S practices on shop floor
- Coordinate with production, quality & maintenance teams
- Conduct RCA for defects and monitor OEE
- Maintain machine checklists, SOPs & shift handover
