Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a CNC Turning Programmer located in Ambattur. The CNC Turning Programmer will be responsible for developing accurate CNC programs for turning machines, setting up and operating CNC machines, reading and interpreting engineering drawings, selecting proper tools and materials, troubleshooting and adjusting equipment, and ensuring optimal production efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards. Collaboration with the engineering and production team to meet project deadlines is an essential part of the role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CNC programming with a focus on turning machines
- Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Ability to select and set up cutting tools and input machine parameters
- Strong knowledge of machine operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Commitment to producing high-quality precision components
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Relevant certification or technical training in CNC programming or mechanical engineering
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not mandatory
