Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a CNC Turning Machinist located in Bengaluru. The CNC Turning Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC turning machines, selecting appropriate tools, editing programs when necessary, and ensuring components meet design specifications. Additional duties include conducting quality checks, troubleshooting equipment issues, maintaining production efficiency, and collaborating with team members to ensure workflow meets production schedules.
Qualifications
- Expertise in CNC turning machine setup, operation, and maintenance
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Experience with tool selection, program editing, and precision machining techniques
- Knowledge of quality inspection techniques, including measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment or machining issues
- Understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining workplace safety standards
- Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Relevant technical certification or a diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred)
- Prior experience in Aerospace or Automation-related manufacturing is an advantage
