Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Computer Numerical Control (CNC) coiling & wire forming role based in Mumbai. The candidate will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision springs according to engineering drawings and specifications. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting technical plans, selecting appropriate tooling, adjusting machine parameters, and performing basic programming or offsets as needed. The role involves inspecting finished parts, maintaining quality standards, and documenting measurements to ensure compliance with ISO requirements. The CNC Machine operator will also perform routine machine maintenance, report equipment issues, collaborate with production and quality teams, and follow all safety procedures on the shop floor.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Machine Operation and Machinery handling for CNC equipment and related tools.
- Proficiency in Machining and Milling processes for precision component manufacturing.
- Experience in Quality Control, including the use of measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and adherence to ISO standards.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and CNC programs.
- Knowledge of basic CNC programming, offsets, and troubleshooting is preferred.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or metalworking environment, ideally in springs or automotive components.
- Diploma, technical certificate, or vocational training in machining, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
