Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Mysore for a CNC Programmer. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs, configuring and maintaining CNC machines, interpreting engineering blueprints, and ensuring the manufacturing of precision components meets design specifications. Duties include collaborating with the tool room team to improve machining processes, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring adherence to quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CNC programming and machine setup
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software for design and toolpath generation
- Understanding of engineering blueprints and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Experience in precision machining, tooling, and quality inspection standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot CNC machine and programming issues
- Ability to work collaboratively in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with various metal materials such as Stainless Steel, Titanium, and Inconel is a plus
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
- Previous experience in a precision engineering or high-specification industry is advantageous
