JOB DESCRIPTION:
CNC Operator
A CNC Operator is responsible for operating computer numerical control machines to produce precision metal or plastic components. The role involves interpreting technical drawings, setting up machines, loading raw materials, and monitoring the machining process to ensure accuracy and quality. The operator must perform routine maintenance, inspect finished parts using measuring instruments, and ensure compliance with safety standards and production targets.
VMC Operator (Vertical Machining Center Operator)
A VMC Operator manages vertical machining centers used for milling, drilling, and tapping operations. The role includes setting up tools, aligning fixtures, and executing machining programs. The operator ensures dimensional accuracy by reading engineering drawings and performing quality checks. Maintaining machine efficiency and minimizing downtime are key responsibilities.
VTL Operator (Vertical Turret Lathe Operator)
A VTL Operator is responsible for machining large, heavy components using vertical turret lathes. The job includes setting up workpieces, selecting cutting tools, and executing turning operations. The operator must ensure precision by monitoring machining parameters and conducting inspections. Experience in handling large-scale components and maintaining strict safety standards is essential.
HMC Operator (Horizontal Machining Center Operator)
An HMC Operator operates horizontal machining centers designed for high-volume and precision machining. Responsibilities include machine setup, tool selection, program execution, and quality inspection. The operator works with complex components and ensures optimal cycle times while maintaining high accuracy and productivity.
Mechanical Engineer
A Mechanical Engineer designs, develops, and improves mechanical systems and manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include creating technical drawings, conducting analysis, supervising production, and troubleshooting mechanical issues. The role requires collaboration with production teams to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to quality standards. Knowledge of CAD/CAM software and industry standards is essential.
ID & OD Operator (Internal Diameter & Outer Diameter Operator)
An ID/OD Operator specializes in precision grinding or machining of internal and external diameters of components. The role involves setting up grinding machines, selecting appropriate tools, and ensuring surface finish and dimensional accuracy. Regular inspection using precision instruments and maintaining tight tolerances are critical aspects of the job.
CAM Programmer
A CAM Programmer develops and optimizes computer-aided manufacturing programs used in CNC machining. The role involves interpreting engineering designs, creating tool paths, selecting cutting tools, and simulating machining processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
