Operating across a 50,000 sq. ft. area, DMW CNC Centre has trained and facilitated job placements for over 37,000 students in CNC operations, programming, quality control, and more. Partnering with industry leaders such as Makino, Ace Micromatic, Fanuc, and Siemens, the center offers advanced CNC Programming and CAD/CAM training. DMW CNC Centre has also successfully implemented skill development programs supported by Central and State Government initiatives like PMKVY, DDU-GKY, and Naan Mudalvan. Guided by experienced academicians-turned-entrepreneurs, two directors are fully hands-on in overseeing operations.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a CNC Operator based in Hosur. The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines. Daily tasks include interpreting blueprints, operating CNC milling and turning machines, conducting routine maintenance, ensuring precision in the machining process, inspecting finished products for compliance with quality standards, and maintaining safety protocols in the workplace.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CNC machine operations, including CNC turning and milling
- Knowledge of CNC programming and operations, with experience in CAD/CAM software as a plus
- Attention to detail and skills in inspecting and ensuring quality control for machined components
- Understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues
- Experience in CNC training or technical education is advantageous
- Certificate or diploma in CNC machining, mechanical engineering, or related technical fields
