Role Description The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring CNC machines to produce parts according to specification and within defined tolerances. Day-to-day tasks include setting up machines, loading materials, entering program parameters, and performing basic adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency. The role involves inspecting finished components, documenting production data, and reporting any deviations or equipment issues. The CNC Operator will follow safety protocols, maintain a clean work area, and collaborate with supervisors and quality teams to meet production targets. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore.
Qualifications
- Strong Machine Operation skills, including CNC machine setup, safe handling, and routine checks.
- Experience in Machining and Milling processes, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Knowledge of Quality Control practices, including dimensional inspection and use of measuring tools.
- Familiarity with industrial Machinery, basic troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to follow work instructions, production schedules, and safety guidelines accurately.
- Basic understanding of shop math and measurement units (mm/inches, tolerances).
- Prior experience in a machining or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Relevant technical diploma or vocational training in mechanical, machining, or related field is an advantage.
