Experienced in CNC gear hobbing programming, machine setup, and post-processor development for gear manufacturing. Skilled in creating and optimizing CNC programs, selecting cutting parameters, tool setting, workpiece alignment, and troubleshooting machining issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify CNC hobbing programs for various gear profiles and specifications.
- Create, customize, and optimize post processors for CNC hobbing machines.
- Set cutting parameters, tools, offsets, and machine coordinates.
- Analyze drawings and gear specifications to prepare machining processes.
- Optimize programs for cycle time, tool life, accuracy, and surface finish.
- Perform program prove-out, debugging, and on-machine corrections.
- Troubleshoot machining, programming, and post-processor issues.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure dimensional accuracy and process reliability.
