Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a CMM Operator located in Coimbatore. The CMM Operator will conduct inspections of manufactured parts using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM). Daily tasks include setting up and calibrating CMM equipment, programming measurements according to technical drawings and specifications, inspecting components for accuracy, and creating detailed reports on findings. The role demands an emphasis on quality assurance and collaboration with the engineering team to ensure precise production standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and familiarity with CMM software.
• Ability to interpret and analyze technical drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience in quality inspection processes, including dimensional verification and troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing and machining processes, as well as a strong understanding of materials and production techniques.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Good communication skills to collaborate within a team effectively.
• Engineering diploma or degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience in a similar role, especially in casting or manufacturing environments, is an added advantage.
