Role Description
Full-time, on-site CMM Engineer role in Gondal (near Rajkot) responsible for part measurement, inspection, and quality assurance using CMM. The role includes testing, result evaluation, maintaining quality standards, and handling ISO documentation, including SOPs, records, and audit support.
- Create accurate CMM programs using software (like PC-DMIS or similar) and run inspection as per drawing and GD&T.
- Measure parts using the CMM machine as per drawing and ensure all critical dimensions are within tolerance.
- Generate inspection reports with proper data and share results with the quality and production teams.
- Ensure the CMM machine is clean, calibrated, and in good working condition for accurate measurement
- Work with the QC and production teams to plan inspection priorities and solve quality-related problems.
- Save all inspection reports, calibration certificates, and part history for traceability and audits.
- Always work as per ISO, quality control, and safety procedures defined by the company.
- Ensure that all ISO-related documents are maintained properly and are regularly filled by the responsible department heads.
- Develop accurate CMM programs using relevant CMM software and perform part inspections as per engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) requirements
