Position Title: Coordinator, Digital Publishing

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Digital Publishing Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining our digital presence through website updates, blog management, and email deployment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a meticulous eye for detail, and experience with content management systems.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain website content across multiple platforms including Sanity and Contentful.
  • Format, schedule, and publish blog posts according to editorial calendar
  • Prepare and deploy email campaigns using our email platform Acoustic
  • Ensure all digital assets are properly tagged, organized, and archived
  • Conduct regular quality assurance checks on website pages and digital publications
  • Coordinate with team members to gather necessary assets and information for updates
  • Coordination with agencies and cross-functional partners
  • Maintain project timelines and track progress of digital publishing initiatives
  • Support basic troubleshooting of website issues and escalate technical problems as needed
  • CMH health and safety initiatives.
  • Help support implementation of CMH sustainability initiatives.
  • Train, participate in and provide support, as required, during emergency response situations.
  • Support guests and employees in the field program during area visits, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related field. Alternatively, extensive experience with content management systems such as Sanity or Contentful will be considered.
  • Marketing experience in the tourism, outdoor recreation, or adventure industry, preferred.
  • 1-2 years experience with digital asset management a plus (ContentHub).
  • Understanding of outdoor adventure terminology and culture, preferred.
  • 1-2 years familiarity with email marketing platforms (Acoustic, Knack, Litmus).
  • Basic HTML knowledge preferred, not required.

  • Confidence to interact with all levels of the company in a hub-and-spoke model in which many individuals are remote.
  • Trustworthy, goal-oriented, respectful, and self-directed in completing the core functions of the role.
  • Sees projects through to completion including follow-up on any identified issues.
  • Strong sense of work ethic and accountability, with an ability to function well in a team environment and focus on team success.
  • Effectively prioritize tasks, responsibilities, and goals; use goals to guide actions and create detailed action plans.

Working Conditions

  • Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis.
  • This position may require occasional travel to CMH areas, as well as some travel to industry functions on an occasional basis.
