Hr Data Analyst

THE ROLE The HR Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing HR-related data, developing interactive dashboards, and providing insights to drive data-driven decision-making. This role requires expertise in SQL, Advanced Excel, Python, and data visualization tools like Power BI/Tableau to support HR analytics and workforce planning. REPORTING STRUCTURE Functional Team: Human Resources Base Location: GBS India Mumbai OR Chennai PURPOSE The HR Data Analyst plays a crucial role in transforming HR data into actionable insights. By leveraging analytics, automation, and reporting tools, this role enhances workforce planning, employee engagement, and HR decision-making. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Data Analytics & Reporting: Extract, clean, and analyze HR-related data from sources like HRIS, ATS, and payroll systems. Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI/Tableau to track key HR metrics. Develop and optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and analysis. Utilize Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, etc.) for advanced data analysis, automation, and predictive modeling. Prepare reports and dashboards on attrition, compensation, headcount trends, and workforce analytics. HR Insights & Decision Support: Work closely with HR and business leaders to understand reporting requirements and provide data-driven insights. Identify trends and patterns in HR data to support strategic business decisions. Automate repetitive HR reporting processes to improve efficiency. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance while handling sensitive employee information. Workforce & Talent Analytics: Analyze HR datasets, including employee records, compensation, payroll, recruitment, and performance data. Support HR teams with workforce planning and forecasting models. Provide insights into employee engagement, retention, and diversity metrics.
