Job Description: Cluster Retail Manager

Position: Cluster Retail Manager

Experience: 6 - 8 years in Retail & Apparel

Industry Preference: Luxury & Semi-Luxury Brands

Budget: 12-15 LPA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of 5-6 Store Managers, ensuring optimal performance, team development, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Business Operations: Oversee business operations with revenue targets ranging from ₹30Cr, ensuring seamless store functioning, adherence to SOPs, and driving operational excellence.
  • Customer Engagement: Execute BTL (Below-the-Line) marketing activities and customer connecting initiatives to enhance brand presence, customer loyalty, and footfall across stores.
  • NSO & AOP Planning: Manage New Store Openings (NSO) from inception to execution, including site selection, resource planning, and team deployment. Contribute to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) formulation, aligning with strategic goals.
  • Talent Acquisition & Development: Conduct hiring drives to attract and retain top talent. Implement robust onboarding, training, and performance management systems to nurture high-performing teams.
  • Commercial Acumen: Apply strong commercial understanding to optimize sales, profitability, and operational efficiency. Drive budget planning, cost control, and financial forecasting.
  • Analytical Skills: Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and business metrics to identify trends, improve performance, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with merchandising, marketing, supply chain, and operations teams to synchronize efforts and achieve business objectives.
  • Inventory & Stock Management: Ensure effective stock management practices, optimize inventory levels, and minimize shrinkage through regular audits and compliance checks.

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexibility to travel extensively over a period of 15 days for store visits, audits, and training sessions
  • Willingness to take up transferable roles as per business needs, with adaptability to diverse cultural and market environments
  • Fluency in regional languages along with strong command of English for effective communication across regions
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently
