Job Purpose
We are seeking a Senior User Testing Specialist to design and execute testing initiatives that validate product usability, performance, and behavioral outcomes. As a key member of our Design Thinking unit, you will apply both qualitative and quantitative testing methodologies, interpret behavioral data, and uncover interaction patterns to drive product excellence and user satisfaction.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and conduct user testing activities including A/B testing, usability testing (moderated & unmoderated), multivariate testing, and statistical validation studies.
- Apply both qualitative and quantitative methodologies to evaluate product interactions and user behavior.
- Use statistical models to analyze behavioral data, identify trends, and infer interaction patterns.
- Translate testing insights into actionable recommendations for product, design, and engineering teams.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, engineers, and analytics teams to integrate testing outcomes into product development.
- Champion evidence-based decision-making by evangelizing testing practices across the organization.
- Mentor junior team members in testing methodologies, data interpretation, and statistical analysis.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging testing tools, and behavioral analytics frameworks.
- Proficiency in tools such as Optimizely, Adobe Target, Google Optimize, UserTesting, Qualtrics, or similar testing platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in statistical methods (e.g., regression, ANOVA, hypothesis testing).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate testing outcomes to diverse stakeholders

Qualifications
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, or a related field.
- Certification in usability testing or statistical analysis from reputed organizations (e.g., N/N Group, SAS, R, SPSS).
Work Experience
- Proven experience (3–5 years) in a user testing or behavioral analytics role, with a strong portfolio showcasing impactful testing projects.
- Hands-on expertise in designing and executing usability and statistical testing projects.
- Preference for candidates with experience in tech firms or large corporate environments.
- Bonus: Prior fintech testing experience (e.g., behavioral economics in payments, lending, investments).
- Certifications in behavioral science or advanced analytics (e.g., HBR Behavioral Insights, Applied Statistics).
