The Senior Machinist performs precision machining and grinding operations using CNC machining centers. This role includes CNC machine setup, independent production operation, part inspection, and troubleshooting to maintain quality standards. The Senior Machinist also assists the Lead Machinist as needed, including helping assign tasks and supporting the development of other Machinists.

- Shift 16: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:00 AM (+$1.25/hr shift differential)
- Shift 21: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM (+$3.50/hr shift differential)
Hourly rate of pay: $20.14–$28.68 per hour base rate (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts
- Perform part inspections and assist other Machinists as needed
- Make machine offsets and replace tools as required
- Troubleshoot machining issues to maintain quality and efficiency
- Provide support to the Lead Machinist during absences
- Assist in directing workflow and offering on‑the‑job training to Machinists
- Communicate with Quality and other department Leads regarding inspections and production needs
