Summary
We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer-II with hands-on experience in web application testing and automation using Selenium WebDriver. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, disciplined, and passionate about quality. You will be part of a dynamic QA team responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our web-based legal tech solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and interpret business requirements and technical documentation to derive test conditions and strategies.
- Design detailed and comprehensive test cases for unit, smoke/sanity, black-box, integration, and regression testing.
- Execute manual and automated test cases with accuracy and diligence.
- Document test results, identify issues, and log defects with precision.
- Follow up with development teams and track defect resolution to closure.
- Perform non-functional and UAT testing as per project needs.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
- Utilize test data for data-driven testing and ensure parameterization and synchronization.
- Conduct debugging of test scripts and analyze test results for stability and reliability.
- Execute regression testing cycles and ensure readiness for releases.
- Report and track bugs using tools like Jira or any other defect management systems.
Required Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java for test automation.
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks and functional libraries.
- Strong understanding of Selenium locators and XPath strategies.
- Experience with parameterization, test synchronization, and data-driven testing.
- Familiarity with debugging and interpreting test reports.
- Experience in test result analysis, test maintenance, and re-testing cycles.
- Proficiency in using defect tracking tools and executing end-to-end regression cycles.
