About the role
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with stakeholders to understand and document business needs and requirements.
- Maintain and prioritize requirements backlog in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure the engineering team clearly understands requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Act as the primary point of contact for requirement clarifications and delivery coordination.
- Plan, manage, and track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
- Coordinate and facilitate regular project meetings, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders regularly.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Define user acceptance criteria and collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and quality assurance processes.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or similar role in a software development environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think from an end-user perspective and translate business needs into actionable requirements.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a small or startup environment.
- Technical background or understanding of software development processes.
