About the Role

Today, we seek an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in web technologies and security testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and security of our applications through comprehensive testing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for full-stack applications
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using industry-standard testing frameworks
• Review system architecture for potential performance, reliability, or security weaknesses
• Create and maintain test documentation and testing procedures
• Conduct performance testing and network optimization
• Perform security testing and vulnerability assessments

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Web ecosystems (PHP and NodeJs)
• Extensive experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, PHPUnit, Cypress)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing integration
• Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, WebSocket, IPSec, Radius)
• Experience with security testing tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite)
• Solid knowledge of web security concepts (XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection, etc.)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools

Preferred Skills

Must be able to:

Design and execute performance benchmarks for:

• API response times and throughput
• VPN tunnel establishment and data transfer rates
• DHCP lease acquisition times
• RADIUS authentication response times
• Captive portal user experience and performance

Create detailed performance baseline documentation

Identify performance bottlenecks and optimization opportunities

Develop custom benchmarking tools when needed

Fluent or native in French
