Platform Engineer

We are looking for a mid to senior engineer to join us on an exciting journey to migrate our customers away from big cloud providers to robust, self-hosted environments, exclusively using European-based providers. Your expertise in Kubernetes and system architecture will be pivotal in enabling customers to smoothly transition to secure, reliable, and efficient infrastructures fully hosted within Europe. Key Responsibilities - Configure, install, and maintain Kubernetes clusters and essential add-ons in self-hosted environments. - Design and implement reusable configuration templates based on completed tasks, enhancing operational consistency and simplifying future migrations. - Develop detailed architecture proposals that align closely with customer needs, focusing on reliability, scalability, and maintainability for self-hosted solutions. - Lead the migration process from cloud-based platforms to self-hosted solutions, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance post-transition. - Identify and implement improvements to system performance, security, and reliability, continuously refining self-hosted infrastructure offerings. - Engage directly with customers and internal teams, clearly translating business and technical requirements into actionable platform solutions.
