Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS Developer to architect, develop, and maintain serverless solutions and communication systems using AWS services. You’ll work on real-world voice and AI-powered applications integrating AWS Connect, SIP/DID systems, and essential AI/voice services.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy backend services using AWS Lambda (Python/Node.js)

Develop integrations with AWS services: DynamoDB, RDS (PostgreSQL), S3, Polly, Transcribe, Translate, and AWS Connect

Build APIs for interaction with AWS services and AI SDKs

Implement AWS Connect-based voice solutions, including DID (Direct Inward Dialing) and SIP-based communication flows ([turn0search2]citeturn0search2, [turn0search4]citeturn0search4)

Integrate telephony workflows with SIP trunks or Chime Voice Connectors where needed ([turn0search1]citeturn0search1turn0search6)

Design reusable Lambda-based contact-flow components and handler functions using AWS Connect SDKs

Handle call transfers, agent routing, IVR flows, and in-call media (polly voice prompts, transcribe, translate)

Collaborate with frontend/UI teams to expose API endpoints and ensure seamless integration

Debug and troubleshoot production issues related to call flows, DID routing, and API failures

Participate in CI/CD, version control, and infrastructure-as-code pipelines using Terraform/CloudFormation

Required Skills & Experience

5–10 years of hands-on AWS development experience

Strong Python and Node.js programming, including building RESTful APIs

In-depth experience with AWS services: Lambda, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL (RDS), S3

Familiarity with AWS Connect workflow, DID number assignment, SIP setups, voice prompt automation via Polly, Transcribe, Translate ([turn0search0]citeturn0search0turn0search7)

Understanding of DID and SIP-based routing in AWS Connect or Chime ([turn0search2]citeturn0search2turn0search3)

Experience deploying voice-based flows or IVR systems using AWS Connect or voice SDKs

Good grasp of API design, error handling, and integration with external AI SDKs

Ability to debug voice/media pipelines and telephony protocols like SIP

Desired & Bonus Skills

Hands-on with Amazon Chime Voice Connector and Asterisk IP-PBX integration ([turn0search5]citeturn0search5turn0search10)

Experience with CI/CD frameworks using Terraform or CloudFormation

Familiarity with call routing use cases: internal agent transfers, DID-to-agent routing via DynamoDB lookup flows ([turn0search4]citeturn0search4turn0search9)

Experience in multilingual IVR using AWS Translate and Polly text-to-speech

Exposure to containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)

Strong communication and cross-location collaboration capabilities
