About the role
We re seeking a driven and enthusiastic Junior Software Developer to join our growing development team. This is a fully remote opportunity open to candidates based in the United States or Canada. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of software applications
Write clean, maintainable code following industry best practices
Collaborate with senior developers, QA, and product teams
Troubleshoot and debug software issues
Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and Agile processes
Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
0-2 years of experience in software development (personal projects and internships welcome!)
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#)
Familiarity with version control systems like Git
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Nice to Have:
Exposure to web frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js)
Some experience working with APIs or databases (SQL/NoSQL)
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
