Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with 4+ years of experience in Azure data services to join our team in a support role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting data pipelines and ensuring smooth data operations in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide production support for data pipelines and workflows.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues in Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines.
- Work with Azure Databricks for data processing and issue resolution.
- Manage and maintain data in Azure Data Lake.
- Analyze and debug data-related issues using Python.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability across systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents within SLAs.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Handle incident management, service requests, and change management tasks.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Hands-on experience in Azure Databricks
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with Azure Data Lake
- Good understanding of ETL/ELT processes
- Experience in production support / L3 support roles
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of SQL and performance tuning
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and logging frameworks
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts
Soft Skills:
